Where to get help

More Information and Sources of Help

It takes a lot for someone to admit they may have a problem with alcohol or other drugs, but it’s the first step to overcoming it. Talking to a friend, teacher, family member, or school counsellor can provide a helping hand and emotional support. It can be difficult to seek help but in most cases the sooner you reach out for support, the better. Listed below are a number of services available to young people with alcohol or other drug related issues or for those wanting general information.

National Alcohol and Other Drug Hotline

For free and confidential advice about alcohol and other drugs, call the National Alcohol and Other Drug Hotline.
